As an only child, she was "the apple of her father's eye" and expected to be the center of everyone's world. Studied library science at Syracuse University. A kind and loving mother during her daughter Sally's childhood. After surgery for a brain tumor and the death of her husband Robert, she developed a difficult personality that was hard on Sally and family. Lived in the Rochester NY area during the last years of her life, at first living independently in an apartment on East Avenue, later in an in-home nursing arrangement in Spencerport NY.
